Ripley Caravan Park Site Etiquette
The following rules of occupation are for the good management of the Park and are for the benefit of all who use the Park.
- All new arrivals and visitors must report to reception and register their car number.
- All vehicles must be driven carefully on the Park and not exceeding the speed limit of 5mph.
- Vehicles must keep to authorised parking spaces and not be allowed to obstruct the roads.
- Vehicles must not arrive and leave the Park at unsociable hours. If you wish to leave before 7-30am, please check with reception where to Park.
- Only two vehicles per unit, unless arranged with reception.
- Large group bookings are not accepted. Every effort is made to accommodate you on a particular pitch if requested, but this cannot be guaranteed.
- Campers are responsible for keeping their pitch areas clean and tidy.
- Pitches are only available from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure unless otherwise arranged.
- The Owner of a caravan is responsible for the conduct of all guests whilst at the Park, this is without exception.
- Noise must be kept to a minimum especially between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
- Pets are allowed at the Park Owners’ discretion. They must be kept under proper control.
- Dogs must be on a lead at any time on the Park Owners’ land and must not despoil the Park or cause nuisance to others. Accidents do happen; always clear up after your dog.
- If more than one dog it is by prior arrangement with the owners.
- Certain breeds we do not allow please check.
- All animals must be on a lead going through the fields to Ripley, this by kind permission of the local farmer.
- The Occupier is responsible for the cleanliness of the pitch.
- The area underneath the caravan must be kept clear.
- It is the Occupiers’ responsibility to see that household rubbish is deposited in the receptacles provided, and as much recycling to be carried out as possible.
- No ball games are allowed other than on the football / games play area.
- Bicycles must stay on roads and not be ridden around the shower block or between caravans. Bikes must have lights on when used in darkness.
- No skateboards or roller blades are allowed on the park.
- All land beyond the Park is privately owned and caravan owners are requested not to trespass on its boundaries, there are numerous public footpaths in the area.
- No commercial vehicles are allowed on the Park
- Clothes drying, rotary dryers when not in use must be retracted and covered or removed.
- No business of any description can be carried out on the Park.
- Barbecues are allowed but they must be raised off the ground and should not damage the grass.
- Abuse or damage to the toilet blocks, games room or play equipment will be considered a serious offence.
- Ensure young children are supervised when using the toilet blocks.
- Laundering and pot washing must not take place in the toilets/showers, as there are facilities for this on site.
- Washing may only be hung from a window drying rack and should be unobtrusive.
- Each occupier must provide a fire extinguisher inside the caravan. (Council Rule)
- All caravans must be fully insured. The owners will accept no liability whatsoever for loss or damage to the property of the Occupier or any member of his/her family, or any visitor to the Park.
- The shop is open daily, please check for opening times.
- No electric hoverboards, segway derived vehicles or electric scooters allowed please. These are Illegal on public access roads.
- No drones to be used on the Park, this includes versions which are less than 249g.
